Cedar Point

I went to Cedar Point on Monday (June 8) with Connor and took my friend's daughter Trinity for him to ride with. My sister went with me and we took my niece and her friends because their school was going to be there the same day. It was a fun day and I have cute pictures of Connor & Trin-Trin to post.

Lilly's doing good and growing every day. Her little hair is finally long enough for low pigtails and it's so cute that way (when she leaves them in).

Oh I also have a few cute videos to share! In this one, Connor is singing Gospel with Alan Jackson.

This video is of our dog, Belle's, Birthday.

This video is of Connor cheering on his little sissy.

This video Connor's jumping in with his friends Cooper & Abby.

This video is of Connor and Trin-Trin riding the bumper boats. Connor kept spinning in circles.

This video is Connor & Trin-Trin trying to ride the bumper cars...Again he keeps going in circles at first. Watch how slow they go. It's too funny!

I love the pic of Connor & Charlie Brown because since he was a baby I thought he looked like him with the same shaped head, ears and hardly any hair. LOL

Spring...Yipee!

Well we finally got some spring weather in the last month but today it was colder than it has been. The kids and I have been outside a lot during the day to burn up some of their energy and they both LOVE playing in the dirt! Especially if it's still wet from rain the day before and has turned to mudd. I've just kinda learned to "deal with it" and let them get dirty. Lilly eats the dirt sometimes if I'm not watching and Connor loves throwing it all over her. ha ha

Lilly is walking and all over the place. She started fully walking right before she turned 13 mos old. She is into everything and loves to climb on top of everything.

Connor's new favorite show is "Imagination Movers". I guess the Thomas the Train phase is fizzling out. He still likes Thomas and Bob the Builder, but loves to dance and sing along with the Imagination Movers (on Disney channel). We have their CD in the car and always have to listen to it while watching a dvd. ha ha I've gotten to wear I find myself singing along to their songs as well. ha ha

Connor's growing into a little boy lately. He is starting to like "playing" with other kids instead of just playing "next" to others. He LOVES playing with his cousin Connor (who just turned 3) and it's so cute to watch the 2 of them together. Our Connor calls him "cousin Connor". lol He doesn't just say "Connor". Also he will go up to people and point to himself and say "I Connor". ha ha He likes playing with his sissy too and they used to go play in his room until they pulled all the clothes outta his dresser and took all the toys outta his toybox in there. So, for now, they are no longer allowed to play in there. ha ha

Lilly's been trying to talk more and more. She points to everything now and says "Dat" which means "that". She is very motherly to her dolls and stuffed animals. She loves to cuddle with them. She is completely bottle free now! Hooray for the big girl!!! Her little hair is getting so long while Connor's just keeps getting more curly! She's been cutting teeth for the last few months and now has so many teeth when she smiles. lol She enjoys dancing to the Imagination Movers too (she was just doing it, so it made me think of that).

Anyways, enjoy some pictures of the kids.

Where's the time gone?

Ok I'm really getting bad at posting on here because I'm addicted to Facebook! I post all my pic's and news there but hubby was complaining about no recent posts...Not sure why, he sees the kids everyday and knows what's going on with them. lol

Lets see, Lilly turned 1yr old on March 18th. We had a birthday party for her at an indoor swimming pool. She loved it because she loves swimming and so did all the other kids.

She's somewhat walking now. She's getting more confident and taking more steps and can even stand from sitting without holding onto anything. She says mamma, dada, bubba(brother), ni-ni (nite nite), bye-bye, Hi (that's her favorite word), eyes (and touches her eyes when she says it, and EIEI trying to sing EIEIO with Connor. She tries to sing ABC when Connor sings it but it's just the sound not the actual words. She's definately a drama queen. If she doesn't get her way she gets REALLY mad and throws her little body to the floor in a tantrum and screams bloody murder! I'm not used to this because Connor never did that! She's also a climber. He wasn't like that either. She climbs up on his bed and then falls off sometimes. She climbed up onto the top of his bed (it's a fire truck bed) and was sitting by the little siren light (night light). We still haven't figured out how she got up there! She is just into everything.

Connor's such a big boy these days. He talks really well and sings all the time. But boy, he is in his terrible two's right now and they are really bad!!! We started a reward system to help him listen better but sometimes he just doesn't care about getting his "very special surprise" if he earns 3 coins (poker chips) in his rewards jar. Like today, he decided to spit chocolate milk all over me. Ughhhhhhh! I noticed he really does things he shouldn't do if I am on the phone or the computer. I know it's because he wants my attention but it drives me crazy! He is so funny though. Some of the things he says cracks me up. He tells Lilly "Yayyyyy Sissy, good boy" when she is trying to walk. Or he will say "Hmmm let's think" or his new favorite word is "I can't" when we ask him to do something. lol He figured out how to open our sliding glass door and let the dogs out, but he let sissy out too and she fell and bumped her head! We had to put a safety latch on it.

Both kids are so precious and I am so blessed to have them. We've been going to church on a regular basis for about 6 mos now and it's so cute to see him come home and talk about Jesus. Yesterday when we left church he said "Bye Jesus". lol He enjoys the singing so we usually bring him outta the nursery at the end of the service so he can sing and dance. lol

We dyed Easter Eggs on Fri and went to a birthday party on Saturday for my friend's daughter's 1st bday. He had a blast! Then he was full of sugar on Easter from the Easter basket and the Easter Egg Hunt and the desserts he was sneaking. He crashed big time at the end of the day and had some major meltdowns. It was to be expected though after a long day of sugar and no nap!
Well here are some picture for you from the last few months:)

Connor upset because he wants more candy for breakfast!

Happy New Year

I can't believe I haven't posted since the end of Nov. So we had a great holiday and Connor got a train table from Santa and a bunch of Thomas trains to go with it. Lilly got lots of toys, dolls, movies etc. Connor is talking in sentences now and for a while he would call things that end with "ele" "er". Ex: dieser, easer instead of diesel and easel but not he says them right. He is getting so big and loves to have daddy and I play with him and his trains. I make them talk like on Thomas & Friends and he just stares at me like I'm crazy. ha ha

Lilly will be 10mos old tomorrow. She is growing like a weed. Eating table food, drinking from her sippy cup, pushing the chair around the kitchen and sitting up on her knees and walking with the walking toy. I figure she will be walking in the next month or so because she moves all over the place as long as she's holding onto something. She loves to put EVERYTHING in her mouth so of course I have to keep one eye on her at all times. She is a little ham too. She loves big brother Connor and he loves her too. He gets her to squeal just by looking at her. However, he also likes to knock her down when she's going for his toys! lol So I got one eye on him always too.

We are going to have them dedicated at our church in Feb. My niece is being baptized the same day so I am super excited about that.

We are planning Lilly a big "splash" for her 1st birthday at an indoor pool! Connor and Lilly both are in swimclass and they love it. She is definately a water baby, but Connor is a little more skiddish. I figured why not do something fun for her bday since it's in blahhhhhhh winter and besides we had a big blow out party for Connor's 1st bday so I can't not have one for Lilly too. I know all the little kiddies will love swimming but sure their parents wont be too thrilled walk around in bathing suits. lol

Connor drew the number 6 on his doodle pro the other day. He said "six mommy six" and sure enough he did but he scribbled in it before I got a good picture.

Happy Holidays

I am way behind in posting on here and posting pictures! We have been keeping busy and trying to care for a 2yr old and 8 mos old doesn't leave a lot of time for posting. lol

We went to the Pumkin Factory with the kids and went on a hayride. Also, Connor made the Belleville paper playing in the pumkins! He got his 15 minutes of fame.

We took the kids trick or treating on Halloween and it was great! Connor really got into the groove of things once he realized all he had to say was "trick or treat" to get some candy. Most kids don't even say that these days. They walk up to the door with their bag open. I made sure Connor said "trick or treat (tic-teet)" and "thank you (take yew)" He was Nemo and Lilly was a pink poodle. The weather was nice and all was well.

Lilly is crawling and pulling up to everything. She started crawling the end of 6mos or beginning of 7mos and the pulling up happened during her 7th mos. She's eating a little bit of table food now with her 2 little teeth and trying to learn to drink from a sippy cup. She is changing so much and it's cute to see her and Connor interacting with one another.

Connor finally got his first hair cut over the wknd. He is 2yrs old and didnt have enough hair til not to cut. lol I took pictures and he enjoyed playing while they cut his hair. I took him to a kids haircut place and it was definately worth the money (more expensive than an adult haircut place). He got to sit in a police car chair, got a sucker and spinned a wheel for a price.

In other news, Connor & Lilly welcomed their new baby cousin, Landon into the world on October 11, 2008! He is my cousin Kara's baby boy. He's very precious and I can't wait til he's big enough to play with both of his cousin Connor's and Lilly. She is almost 7 mos older than him but they will be in the same grade in school.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Lilly's New Outfit

Here's a couple pic's of Lilly's new outfit. She wore it to church on Sun. I love how her little shoes and leggings match the shirt and the skirt has flowers on it too but don't think you can see them in the pics. They are blurry because they were from my cell phone.

I also wanted to add some recent pictures of her now that she can sit by herself. I still prop the boppy pillow behind her in the front room since it's hard wood floors with just a big area rug in case she does decide to fall over. She is learning to scoot backwards and has started getting up on her knees and rocking back and forth now. You will see in the last picture she ended up under our end table. I came into the room and was like "Ok how did you get under there?" ha ha She scooted and rolled her way there I guess. She's also the queen of silly faces as you will see in the pictures.

She was blowing bubbles in this picture. She loves to make that rasberry/spitting sound.

We took Connor & Lilly on a couple wagon rides and they both loved it. Here's a couple pictures of that too.

Cute Picture

Here's a cute picture of Lilly. She loves to stick her tongue out. I took it from my cell phone so it's not real clear.
